Rebecca Dunne has been an active musician and educator for over 25 years. She primarily performs on and teaches fiddle, playing old time, bluegrass, Cajun, folk, and other traditional north american styles. Rebecca has recently moved to Whitehorse from Alaska, where she played fiddle with the folk and old time band Ice Jam in Fairbanks, and developed a place-based school music program in Galena, Alaska.
Rebecca strongly believes that everyone can learn to play music. She works with students with attention to their musical interests and goals and strives to keep learning challenging and engaging.
